Jason and the Scorchers are one of my all time fave live bands. One of my Top 5 all time club shows was an impromptu Jason and the Scorchers gig at the Drumstick Lounge, circa 1986. Loud, raucous, thunderous and twangy all at once. Brilliant band. Disciples of Loud is Scorchers guitarist Warner Hodges "new" band. Jason was on the same bill and they treated the Lincoln, NE crowd to a 3 or 4 song Scorchers reunion of sorts. Awesome.
