Disciples of Loud (Warner Hodges) and Jason Ringenberg. July Jamm 2004 : Jason and the Scorchers are one of my all time fave live bands. One of my Top 5 all time club shows was an impromptu Jason and the Scorchers gig at the Drumstick Lounge, circa 1986. Loud, raucous, thunderous and twangy all at once. Brilliant band. Disciples of Loud is Scorchers guitarist Warner Hodges "new" band. Jason was on the same bill and they treated the Lincoln, NE crowd to a 3 or 4 song Scorchers reunion of sorts. Awesome.

The Silos : The Silos, led by Walter Salas-Humara, is a band I've listened to for nearly 20 years now. They'll fall off my radar for a while, then I'll run across one of their cd's and I"ll pop it in and be reminded of how brilliant they are, then they'll gradually fall off my radar, only to have the process repeat itself. http://www.thesilos.net
